Jefferson Community Housing Development Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation operating and governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana & Texas exclusively for housing, consumer mortgage financing, homebuyer education and financial literacy education. Our specific and primary purposes are to raise the economic, business, and educational levels on housing and consumer financing. Jefferson Community Housing Development Foundation, Inc.  will work   fostering and promoting community-wide interest and concern for the housing and mortgage financial problems existing that will empower communities to become prudent consumers.

First Time Buyers

The First Time Buyers Homeowners Assistance Program is designed to help first-time homeowners with the purchase of their first home. This program offers financial assistance in the form of payment and closing cost assistance, well as counseling and education services to help buyers navigate the home buying process. With this program, first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of homeowners with greater ease and confidence.
